Hello! I’m Ayun, the founder of CommunityCareCards.org. My journey into this work began with a simple desire to make a difference in the lives of those who often go unnoticed. As someone who has always been passionate about community service, I’ve seen firsthand the profound impact that a small gesture of kindness can have on someone’s life.
The idea for CommunityCareCards came to me after witnessing the loneliness and isolation many elderly individuals face, especially in long-term care facilities. I knew I had to do something to bring joy and comfort to those in need. That’s when I decided to create a platform where people could come together to send care cards and kits to those who need a little extra support.
I envision a world where no one feels forgotten. Through CommunityCareCards, I aim to build a community of compassion where we collectively lift each other up. My goal is to reach as many people as possible with our care cards and kits, bringing warmth and encouragement to those who need it most.
As the founder, I’m deeply involved in every aspect of our work—from designing our care cards to coordinating with volunteers and partners. But more than that, I’m driven by the stories of those we serve and the difference we’re making, one card at a time.
